On Oct. 10th, Turkish Aerospace visits Kings 3D's factory in Zhuhai to inspect the Kings SLS P440 3D printer, which they ordered at the end of August and is scheduled for installation in November.
Remziecimel Ece, Head of Additive Manufacturing at Turkish Aerospace; Gunes Gungor, Additive Manufacturing Head of Engineering at Turkish Aerospace; and Ali Oğuz, Co-founder of Kings 3D’s Turkish distributor Promakim 3D, visited Kings 3D’s factory with Kings 3D. The delegation toured the Kings SLS 3D printer and nylon 3D printing material production facilities.
During the visit, Kings 3D provided an in-depth introduction to our 3D printing factory and the capabilities of the machine, particularly highlighting Kings' proprietary nylon 3D printing materials. Additionally, the two parties engaged in technical discussions about 3D printing, focusing on the various applications of multiple 3D printing technologies in the aerospace industry.
The Kings SLS P440 nylon 3D printer is renowned for its exceptional precision and compatibility with Kings' proprietary nylon materials, including KSPA12, KSPA12BK, KSPA12GB, and KSTPU23. These materials offer superior strength, flexibility, and outstanding performance in nylon 3D printing. They boast high color stability during repeated use, high elongation and tensile strength, a material reuse rate close to 100%, as well as excellent stiffness, high-temperature resistance, and precise printing with clear edges and sharp corners. These features make them particularly well-suited for the aerospace industry's stringent requirements, where lightweight yet durable components are essential. The successful inspection not only highlights the printer’s capabilities but also underscores Kings 3D's expertise in developing advanced nylon materials, offering significant advantages in optimizing the production processes in aerospace industry.

About SLS 3D Printing's applications in Aerospace Industry
SLS 3D printing has transformative applications in the aerospace industry, offering the ability to create lightweight, durable parts with complex geometries that would be difficult or impossible to manufacture using traditional methods. Components such as brackets, housings, and ducting systems can be 3D printed using high-performance nylon or other advanced materials. This technology not only reduces the weight of aircraft and spacecraft, improving fuel efficiency but also shortens production cycles, allowing for rapid prototyping and on-demand manufacturing of custom parts. Additionally, the ability to consolidate multiple parts into a single, 3D-printed piece enhances the overall strength and reliability of critical components.
This visit marks a significant milestone in the collaboration between Kings 3D and Turkish Aerospace. Both parties have expressed their commitment to strengthening cooperation in the future and advancing the application of 3D printing technology in the aerospace sector.
